A guide to banking, ownership, business, residence and citizenship options to discuss with your FNC expert.
Start with the decision, then choose the service.
Your plan connects three decisions: your place of residence, the ownership of your assets, and the location of business activity. Each needs its own reasoning before the pieces are combined.
Whether you remain in the US or build a life abroad, consulting establishes the facts, compares suitable options and sets the order of work. This overview helps you prepare questions; it is not a recommendation for your circumstances.
What FNC can help coordinate
01
Banking access
Explore an additional banking relationship that fits your residence, income and transaction needs. Options may include Georgia or Swiss private banking through specialist partners.
What to settle first: Confirm whether the institution accepts your profile, what evidence of funds it needs, and how the account will be used. Account acceptance and continued access remain bank decisions.
02
Asset ownership and succession
Compare companies, foundations and trusts for holding assets and planning succession. Depending on the facts, the discussion may include a Panama company, an ADGM foundation or holding vehicle, or a Cook Islands trust through specialist counsel.
What to settle first: Review who controls the assets, beneficiary rights, existing claims, reporting duties and ongoing administration. Protection depends on the law and circumstances; no structure guarantees immunity from creditors.
03
Business operations
Assess an operating company for international clients, payments and regional activity. UAE free zone companies and Singapore structures through partners may be considered where the business has a reason to operate there.
What to settle first: Match the licence, banking, management and local activity to the real business. Incorporation alone does not establish tax eligibility or satisfy substance requirements.
04
Residence and a documented legal home
Compare residence routes against where you intend to live, your family needs and the time you can spend there. The service range includes Panama, Paraguay and UAE residence, with European options through partners in Cyprus, Portugal, Andorra and Greece.
What to settle first: Check eligibility, required presence, renewals and evidence of residence. Immigration permission and tax residence are separate questions; a residence card alone does not establish a US tax exclusion.
05
Citizenship and mobility
Assess whether an additional citizenship would serve a specific travel or family objective. Programmes that may be reviewed include Vanuatu, Antigua and Barbuda, and St Kitts and Nevis.
What to settle first: Verify current programme availability, due diligence, family eligibility and travel rights before deciding. A second passport does not remove US citizenship-based tax or reporting duties.
Implementation is scoped after consulting.
Agree the chosen services, professional responsibilities, documents, expected timing and fees before implementation begins. Specialist partners may handle legal, banking and immigration work. Setup costs, third-party charges and ongoing obligations are assessed for your case.
Optional management can coordinate agreed filings, renewals, provider communication and periodic reviews. Your US tax adviser remains involved in reporting and tax decisions; legal representation and other specialist work need their own agreed scope.
